Church of St. Clement
About
The parish church of Saint-Clément was built in the 2nd half of the 10th century and was part of the diocese of Mâcon and the archpriesthood of Rousset.
The site of this village, perched on a hill overlooking the valleys of the Guye and Grosne rivers, is very picturesque. It has been occupied since ancient times. A parish church was built there in the 2nd half of the 10th century; it depended on the diocese of Mâcon and the archpriesthood of Rousset. It is one of the oldest churches in Saône-et-Loire.
