The Clunisois region lies at the heart of the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire between Cluny and Tournus.
We propose this tour of 41 km to discover Romanesque art, arts and crafts and the region's iconic châteaux.
Blanot
The villa of Blanot was given to the abbey of Cluny in 927 by Liébaud and Doda de Brancion.
Around the church dedicated to Saint-Martin, the Cluniac monks organised a rural lay estate which played an essential role in the management of the land between Cluny and Brancion.
The village of Blanot is organised around the church of Saint-Martin and the recently restored priory. We recommend the bat circuit by following the nails on the ground.
