About
Located at no. 6, rue d'Avril, close to the Abbey's Portes d'Honneur, this late 12th-, early 13th-century building has a vast façade facing a street, with two clerestories on either side of a corbelled chimney and virtually no decoration: it is a unique example in Cluny.
Acquired by the Friends of Cluny in 1966 and classified as a "historic monument", it was carefully restored in accordance with known archives (in particular the plans by Aymar Verdier) and with the help of the Monuments Historiques.
An exceptional venue for your receptions:
With two impressively large rooms on the first floor and another on the ground floor opening onto an inner courtyard, the Hôtel des Monnaies can be used for meetings, conferences, concerts and receptions.
- Maximum capacity 50 people .
