With the backdrop of woods hanging over the hills and green sheets thrown on the slopes and in the valleys, the walk links five washhouses ideally distributed along the route. And what washhouses! Each of these small buildings from the beginning of the 19th century, which evoke a way of life that is still so close, groups together a washhouse, a fountain and a drinking trough, sometimes with multiple troughs. From one to the other, the path opens onto the panoramic views of the Cluny region and the scrubby rise of its hills. Alongside this small rural heritage, in the church of Lournand, at the chapel of Collonges or at the foot of the tower of Chevagny, the stops are nostalgic, contemplative, meditative, but always recreational.
