Gîte La Chanaise

"La Chanaise: a small private house, overlooking the hills; 200m from the abbey, the stud farm and the historic centre of Cluny. It's a town in the country, yet the shops are a 5-minute walk away. Park in the courtyard, the small garden gives access to a generous terrace and the conservatory, which is sheltered from view. Enter the cool, cosy cottage, where you'll find a small, fully-equipped kitchen as well as a bathroom and toilet on the ground floor.
The first-floor bedroom is bright and comfortable. Deckchairs, bbq and hammock available.
Your hosts live in the adjoining house and will be happy to tell you all about the wonders of the Clunisois region.
The Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela passes through here, as does the Burgundy wine route and the Romanesque church circuit, and the greenway is just 500 m away.
Cluny is 34km from the small town of Tournus, 24km from Mâcon, 10km from Taizé and one hour from Lyon.
The gîte has a superb view over the Equivallée equestrian centre.
