La Tour des Fromages (Cheese Tower)
From the top of the Tour des Fromages, discover the magnificent view of the town, the abbey and the surrounding countryside.
The Tower, once part of the wall surrounding the abbey, used to be called “tour des fèves”, will allow you to keep unforgettable memories of your visit to Cluny.
This is not a guided tour, but it is backed up by the new detailed liflet given to you at the entrance. A film presenting Cluny is shown at the entrance.
From the top of the tower, you can used an augmented reality device and thus rediscover the large abbey church of Cluny III as a whole and in the context of the town as it is today... How if it were always there, in its entirety, with the tarred cars and streets!
Entrance by the tourist office.
Anedition in 6 languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish) is proposed to the visitor discovering the panorama top of the tower. Indications will also allow him to use the terminal of increased reality.
